2014, 3,4 - The indicator improved by 0,1 points (2013 - 3,5). The media coverage of CSOs increased, especially in terms of support of the army, IDPs and anti-corruption activities.

2015, 3.3 - The score has improved by 0,1 points (2014 - 3.4). The government and business more often cooperated with CSOs, although limited financial resources did not allow them to increase their investments in the activities of organizations.

2016, 3,3—The indicator has not changed (2015 - 3,3). Although media coverage of CSOs decreased due to the political crisis, the conflict in the East, and economic difficulties, the overall tone remained positive.

2017, 3,3 - The indicator has not changed significantly (2016 - 3,3), although the coverage of CSOs' activities has deteriorated. A negative information campaign against anti-corruption CSOs influenced public opinion, causing support for the introduction of asset declarations for anti-corruption activists.

2018, 3,3 -The indicator remained unchanged (2017 - 3,3). Trust in CSOs has increased, but Ukrainian citizens' participation in CSOs' activities was still low.

2019, 3,3 - The indicator remained stable (2018 - 3,3). CSOs worked closely with some journalists and independent media companies, and leading organizations published annual reports on their activities and conducted public procurement in accordance with their internal procedures and donor requirements.

2020, 3,3—The indicator has not changed (2019 - 3,3). At the same time, negative information campaigns against CSOs and activists decreased public trust. CSOs effectively cooperated with the media and used social media to promote their activities.

2021, 3,2—The indicator has improved by 0,1 points (2020 - 3,3). The media covered CSOs' involvement in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in a positive way. Also, large CSOs published annual programs and financial reports, while small CSOs published them irregularly or did not do so at all.

2022, 3,0—The indicator has improved by 0,2 points (2021 - 3,2). Trust in CSOs has increased, and the number of references to CSOs in the media has increased almost tenfold. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, almost 600,000 messages mentioning CSOs and their activities have been published in the media and social networks.

2023, 3,0 - The indicator remained unchanged (2022 - 3,0). The overall level of public trust in CSOs remained high, and there was a significant increase in the number of public events held by CSOs.
